_Vila Ami
Where is Vila Ami? How can I get there?
Vila Ami sits in the Tragjas valley, in Vlorë County, Albania, at the foot of the Ceraunian mountains. Vlora International Airport is about 40 km away, and the Albanian Riviera beaches are roughly 20 minutes by car.
Can I book a single room?
Yes. Vila Ami is a boutique hotel booked by the room, with five room types from a Double with Mountain View to a Family Room for up to five guests.
How can I check availability and book?
You can book through our Booking.com listing, message us on Instagram @hotelvilaami_, or write to us at info@vilaami.al. We reply as soon as we can.
Is there parking at the villa?
Yes, there is free private parking on site, described by guests as safe and secure.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed. Vila Ami is entirely non-smoking, and children of any age are welcome.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 to 23:00 and check-out from 08:00 to 11:00. A 24-hour front desk means someone is always on hand.
What will I find in the room?
Every room has air-conditioning, a private marble bathroom (some with an in-room jacuzzi), a minibar, a work desk, free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a balcony with garden or mountain views.
How can I pay?
Cash is accepted. Please bring a photo ID and a credit card for check-in.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, a freshly made breakfast is served every morning and is one of the things guests praise most.
What is served for breakfast?
Freshly made petulla (Albanian fritters), pastries, eggs, cheese, fruit, juice and homemade jam — continental, Italian, vegetarian and à la carte options, cooked to order.
Where is breakfast served?
In the garden, on the terrace, on your balcony or in your room — wherever you feel most at ease.
Is there a restaurant?
There is no full restaurant, but breakfast is served daily and there is a bar, with room service available.
Can I have breakfast on the terrace or balcony?
Of course. Many guests enjoy breakfast out on the terrace or on their own balcony over the valley.
_Garden & Terrace
Is there a swimming pool?
There is no pool. Instead, Vila Ami has a huge Mediterranean garden and a large terrace with outdoor seating.
Can I relax in the garden?
Yes, the garden of bougainvillea, olive and cypress is open to guests, with a terrace and outdoor seating to enjoy the mild weather.
Is the garden private?
Yes, the garden and terrace sit within the grounds of the villa, quiet and sheltered, with views over the valley and mountains.
_Wellness
Is there a spa or wellness centre?
There is no spa. The calm itself is the luxury here: a peaceful rural valley, birdsong and the sounds of the countryside.
How quiet is it?
Very. Guests describe Vila Ami as peaceful and restful — a hidden gem away from the crowds, twenty minutes from the Riviera.
What is there to do to unwind?
Slow mornings in the garden, a long breakfast on the terrace, and easy days between the mountains and the beaches of the Riviera.

Which beaches are nearby?
Orikum Beach is about 10 to 20 minutes away, and Dhërmi, Palasa and Drymades on the Albanian Riviera are around 20 minutes by car.
What else is worth seeing?
The Llogara Pass, the vineyards of the valley, and Vlorë — with Kuzum Baba and Independence Square about 20 km away.
